There would be a focus on making everything handicap acessiblie due to the large amount of handicapped people in the homeless population. For example, the shower stalls will all be large enough to wheel into and there will be stools as well as handrails.
Storefronts would be altered into dorm-style rooms with department stores turned into community spaces. The housing is not meant to be a permanant solution, rather a way to help the homeless re-integrate back into society without having to worry about having a roof over their heads.
